Operators can work faster and more efficiently while using a remote controller. A belt clip or shoulder strap allows the operator to carry the remote and retrieve the crane from any position within the runway. Two-man operations can safely be performed by one operator with a remote.

Without having to reach and move in akward positions to maintain controll of an attached pendant, the operator is less at risk for injuries or repetetive motion disorders. The operator is able to move in a natural position while operating the crane. The controllers are designed to fit the hand naturally and require little effort to operate.
